Halloween

A ton of new things have happened since my last post, but I'm going to keep this one all about our Halloween. There are some pictures lurking around somewhere of us all going trick-or-treating, but I can't seem to find them. This was Cam's (and my) first year of trick-or-treating. He was so funny. We used this opportunity to meet our neighbors since I haven't done so yet. Cameron, however, felt that we needed to know them intimately as he kept trying to go into everyone's house. He kept grabbing for more candy-he was pretty loaded before we even left- and trying to eat it as it was being given to him. It was his first so we let him finally have a sucker to eat while we finished our neighborhood.

Cameron's current phase is all about music. He wants us to play Guitar Hero all the time and everything is a guitar. Baseball bat, rackets, straws, cups, pretty much anything you can hold serves an additional task of being a guitar. We're usually singing the Wiggles and my personal favorite is his metal rendition of "Fruit Salad, Yummy, Yummy". That and his electric guitar wail where he gets his head in on the action as well. It doesn't stop at the guitar though. Those straws, wooden spoons, bowls, pots, pillows, crayons, chalk, and so much more serves as his own drum set. He has great rhythm. There is also the "peeno". He has a car launcher set that have piano-like keys, and he's also got a toy piano. Anyways, the point I'm getting at is his costume - a punk rocker! He was so cute! I didn't get any great pictures though. He had spiky hair sprayed green, a nose stud, and eyeliner for the dark punk look. I used face paint though. Can you imagine putting eyeliner on a two year old? It's not easy.

Rockin' hard to the Wiggles.

Making rockstar faces. We had fun practicing!

We bypassed the makeup for school, but we still kept the green hair and nose stud.

You can see the stud in his nose when you click on the pic.

Well, after trick-or-treating and some pizza (pumpkin shaped pizza no less) we went to the trunk-or-treat at Grandma and Grandpa's church (Vicki and Daniel). There, we got to play some games, hear some scripture and get even more loaded on sugar.

Cam and Grandpa

Grandma and Keiler, our little pumpkin. A friend gave us this darling outfit for his first Halloween.

Givin' Grandma sugars

Those were some crazy glasses Grandma.

The name of this was "Seek and you shall find." The kids were supposed to learn a lesson while digging for candy, but Cam would rather just play in the hay. I, however, found hay in his diaper that night.

You can see his little hat better in this shot.
Aunt Vikki got to come with us and enjoy Kei's first Halloween.
