Easter!

Yes, I know, I'm behind. What's new?

We had fun this Easter. My sister, Heather and her husband, Josh, came in from Dallas and my grandparents, Oma and Opa, came in from North Zulch. Yes, it IS a real place its right there by College Station. Daniel and Vicki, Grandma and Grandpa, also came to visit Sunday.

Other than a little drama we had a great time! My Aunt Vikki got something in her eye while we were playing badminton Saturday. We thought she scratched her eye up pretty good, but Adam remembered something similar happening to one of his sisters and the rogue object was actually still in the eye. Sunday when things didn't seem any better my grandparents took her to a medical clinic where, sure enough, they removed the little nuisance from her eye. She was MUCH better after it was all over!

We had garlic stuffed chicken, steamed broccoli, carrots and cauliflower, oven fries and cheesy garlic biscuits for lunch and it turned out pretty good. Thanks Heather for helping me cook all weekend!

I had to wake him up from nap to dye eggs. He wasn't too happy with me until I pulled out the cookies. He really enjoyed dying eggs! It was fun, even Oma got in on the action.
Cameron got tired of using the dipper and I think Aunt Vikki was trying to save her table.
The guys watched basketball ALL DAY! Cameron (once he woke up) was in a silly mood.
Cameron's football! He's my little jack of all trades.
If it's near that baby's mouth, it's going in it. Keiler adored his Opa.

Little bunny tails! Thank you Aunt Vikki for the little outfit!
This was Kei's Easter basket. I know, I just couldn't figure out what else to get a 6 month old that has his brother's toys already.
Cameron got more Tonka trucks and a view master. He loves it! We tried to stay away from a lot of candy this year.

This thing has been pretty useful. At bedtime (since both boys share a room) I nurse Keiler after Cam's story time. So Cameron sits in bed and looks at other books and his new view master. He is actually staying in bed for the most part.
Easter egg hunt!
Kei just watched his big brother. I really wish Cameron would pay a little more attention to his little brother, but all in due time I'm sure.
"Das a football egg mommy!"
Oma, Opa, Uncle Josh and Aunt Heather.
Keiler Aiden does the silliest things with his tongue!
The rest are family pictures and I think I have already told you who everyone is. I have more that I will post in a separate post of the grown up egg hunt. That was funny!

Play in Cameron's room

It's kinda like a rite of passage. You walk in the door and if you are lucky you will be invited into Cameron's room. You are officially not going anywhere soon! Cam has this thing where he wants people to go to his room and play. He'll read books (his current favorite is Smelly Socks), make you play with his Corvette or Aston Martin hot wheels (yes, he calls them by name) or act silly! My parents spent Easter in Oklahoma with my Uncle Les and Aunt Birdie (I love that name too!). So we had them over for dinner which I burnt-nice. Cam and Pops had a blast! We just had fun despite the somewhat edible food.

Yeah, so I STILL haven't finished the room. Ignore the unfinished wall and focus on those briefs!
That's Grammy!

Keiler was so tuckered out by the activities that night. He barely woke up for second dinner as we call it. He's my little hobbit! He just recently went in for his six month check up and he weighs 15 lbs and 8 ozs. and was 25 3/4 inches. He is so tiny! I think it's just precious. These two are so different! Cam was usually in the 75th for weight and 90th for height, but Kei is about 15% percentile across the board.

Going to the zoo

I figure I could write an all out description of our trip, but really we just had great family time. We enjoyed the perfect weather, the kids and other families around us, and the fact that it wasn't just insanely busy as it tends to be this time of year. We went to the Caldwell Zoo in Tyler. We went to the park for our picnic lunch afterwards, but it was so busy we didn't get to play.

Okay, I have to tell you some of this. Cam was in awe of the birds in the Bird Walkabout where they fly freely, until a couple flew right over his head. He promptly did an about face to head out the entrance. It was quite a chore trying to get him across the pen to the exit.

He liked the fox cause he had red hair like him.

He was TRYING to grab the goats tail. Thank heavens for sanitizer! He LOVED the goats!

School Easter Party and other things

Sweet baby faces!
We've been cleaning the garage and yard up. Cam was helping feed the kitties.
Kei got to jump around in the garage while we worked. Some people have all the fun. :D
I think Kei's tummy is as big as Cam's now. He is finally down to 4 nursings a day! He eats babyfood breakfast and dinner.
Daddy playing around after a hard days work!
He's so cute! He's so snuggly. He wants attention and to be held all the time. He's SO different from Cam. I can easily see him being the more sensitive of the two.
Cam at school on the play yard looking for eggs.
He got tired of looking and decided that his froggy easter basket wanted to swing.
Forget lunch...Give me ICING!
That was GOOD icing!

Daddy with his boys! I was proud of him to show his affection publicly to his boys. It really touched me.
"Kei, stop it!" Cam talks to his brother like this all the time! It's hard to explain to a 2 yr. old that his brother doesn't understand all of what he's doing so he doesn't get into trouble like Cam does. This time they were playing and everyone thought it was funny! Go Bananas little monkey!
